Small Scale Research

"A Close Study of the Characteristics of Jim Carrey's Performance Across a Body of Film."

I have chosen to study Jim Carrey, because in himself he is a unique character, and with a little bit of research, it is quite obvious why he acts the way he does. My key film is "The Truman Show" as this is evidently the pivotal point in his career. The two other films that I've chosen to study are "Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind" as this film again defines a change in his technique of acting and "Ace Ventura Pet Detective" as this is an earlier example of his earlier typical stuff.

My main research from now is going to be about the key film in general, and finding out what other kind of factors made him change from his comedic character to a more serious role in the film world.
